bad call? that stopped a pure scoring chance. if the flyers were going to "steal one" that was the one they needed. the habs didn't play well last night... give credit to the flyers, that still has got to hurt the flyers though.

It was a clean shoulder hit, not a kneeing.

And don't get me started on the high-stick goal. Sure it was probably going in anyway, but Kovalev brings his stick down on top of the net to tap it in. Not sure what the guys in Toronto were smoking.

Just becuase he got his shoulder on Kovalev doesn't mean its ok to stick his knee out as well...and it was the knee contact that sent him to the ice. The Flyers inability to play a clean game will be their downfall...they should have won that one last night.

If the Flyers got screwed on anything, it was the high-stick goal.

well then you could say the flyers third period goal was clearly kicked in when you look at the overhead replay it goes both ways... canadians just stayed mentally in the game after that goal, and kept it a one shot game. and in the end it paid off. same could be said about the flyers on the "high stick" goal.

Wings win Game 1. Survived an aggressive Avs team that came back from being down 4-1. I must say that Osgood is playing very good right now. It's nice to have 2 goalies that got over 20 wins apiece.

This is going to be a good series.

despite what the "experts" say... the rangers won't go down in 5 - 6 games, if the penguins beat them it will take 7 games... if they can beat them. imo

+1. It's been their issue all year. Having defense who are idiots like Jones doesn't help matters at all. At the end of the day, that goal should not of mattered. They got robbed big time, but it shouldn't have happened anyway.
