So if they do make it past Philly like their talent says they will (they will take a good physical beating along the way) they will still be wearing their diapers to Detroit who will slap their faces off. See what Crosby and Malkin do against Lidstrom and KronBOT...not to mention some grisly old vets that they have too...My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.
Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.

Highlights: BOS 6, PHI 3 The Flyers are at the centre of another ugly incident as Boston's Andrew Alberts was drilled by Scott Hartnell.
They were a disgrace to the league this season. Its a shame they even made the playoffs.http://www.jacknapalm.com/

dallas or the wings are gonna kill either of the pens/flyers in a final anyway

absolutely. especially the first part. an absolute joke of a team. its suiting that they would draft a punk like downie too. i hope someone injures that kid and he can never play hockey again.

Jones was hardly dirty. Just a stupid hit. Probably an overeager one. Why even link the Cote one? Probably a "Fuck you, this is what you get for trying to draw a penalty." People go on like the Flyers are dirt. GEEZ, guess thats why they have 3/4 players in the chase for leading the playoffs in scoring and plus minus. Not to mention goaltending. People who judge a team by the actions of two players are also idiots. I thought Todd Bertuzzi's hit was cheap, but I don't hate Vancouver for it. I hope they do win the Cup, as it would be a very fitting "Screw you" to the whiny bitches.
EDIT: You could also argue Patrice turned his back to draw a penalty, which is something a LOT of guys do. Nto as often you see it after that though. Coincidence? I think not.Last edited by CharvelRocker; 05-04-2008, 10:34 PM.

Philly always has been and always will be a dirty team. For once, the Pens have some players cough...enforcers of the same type with Roberts, Gill, Laraque and Ruutu which is something they have had in a very long time. The Pens can roll four lines, with two legit scoring lines and two legit mucking/crashing/working lines. I honestly think the Pens have the edge in goaltending too. Really, would you rather have Biron's 2.72 GAA and .914 SV % or Fluery's 1.76 GAA and .940 SV%?
I think the key to the Pens - Flyers series is who wins with the special teams. The least penalized team will be the one that comes out on top in that series. I told my boss at work when the playoffs started that if the Pens play physical, they can win. I'll still stand behind that. If the Pens take it to the Flyers physically, they'll win. If the Flyers beat the Pens physically, then they'll win. For sure this is going to be a heated series, when is a Pens - Flyers game anything but?
Sure, Detroit is the team to beat, I don't think anyone can logically distpute that.

Yep. I tivo'd it thinking I could watch it later tonight, and when I went to turn it on, the 2nd OT was just beginning. Now we're going to the 4th OT....friggin' crazy. Hats off to Nabby and Turco, they are the difference. If the sharks end up winning, I hope the teams meet in the center and shake hands and the crowd applauds both teams for all the provided entertainment.
It would be nice to see anyways..."Some days you're the dog, other days you're the hydrant." - on the back of the business card for Bella the Pomeranian

Of course it will be another story for Biron if they give the potent Pens power play plenty of penalties to pounce upon.
Enough p for you?

The Jones hit was not dirty plus he apologized after the game and really felt terrible about hurting the guy if you read the press around that time.
Eager isn't on the team anymore and the Cote hit...yeah it was a little high, but it was also early in the season IIRC. The team has really morphed into a more disciplined form since then.
You're a typical Pens fan, always hating the Flyers because they "break the rules". We'll see who's the best team when the series ends.Scott

to any shark fan out there... i know it sucks to lose a game like that believe me we've been through that (07 game 1 vs. the canucks), but they showed alot of guts and character... truly amazing performance
be proud of your team you guys are very close to great things.
(handshake at center ice to the sharks)
