Jones was hardly dirty. Just a stupid hit. Probably an overeager one. Why even link the Cote one? Probably a "Fuck you, this is what you get for trying to draw a penalty." People go on like the Flyers are dirt. GEEZ, guess thats why they have 3/4 players in the chase for leading the playoffs in scoring and plus minus. Not to mention goaltending. People who judge a team by the actions of two players are also idiots. I thought Todd Bertuzzi's hit was cheap, but I don't hate Vancouver for it. I hope they do win the Cup, as it would be a very fitting "Screw you" to the whiny bitches.
EDIT: You could also argue Patrice turned his back to draw a penalty, which is something a LOT of guys do. Nto as often you see it after that though. Coincidence? I think not.

So if they do make it past Philly like their talent says they will (they will take a good physical beating along the way) they will still be wearing their diapers to Detroit who will slap their faces off. See what Crosby and Malkin do against Lidstrom and KronBOT...not to mention some grisly old vets that they have too...
that said, go Stars go. they were my pick to start the playoffs so i hope my prediction comes out nice.
dallas or the wings are gonna kill either of the pens/flyers in a final anyway

Depends.
I don't mean the verb...
I mean the noun...as in the adult diapers that the Pens wear.

I agree Price was WEAK. I thought that the whole series. Montreal made a huge mistake not starting Havlac in the 3rd. Price is Mr. Nonchalant. Goaltending makes or breaks you in the playoffs. Biron didn't look hot either. Biron is hardly a journeyman. He played a year or two in Buffalo and got shelved for Ryan Miller. I've thought Biron was the better of the two all along. Penguins fear the Flyers. That's obvious. Reason is the Flyers are (as mentioned) a tough, complete team with four dangerous lines.

A few years ago I wouldn't have thought the Flyers could make it past the Pens in this situation, but seeing them come back from a deficit again and again makes me think otherwise. Biron is hot right now, and the Flyers might just ride him into the finals.
Just in case though....Go Rangers!

However, they will have their hands full against a stacked Penguins line-up . I'd love to see them beat the Penguins because of their chicken tactics of avoiding the Flyers in the first place.
Whichever team comes out alive will likely have to face Detroit - the juggernaut. My advice would be for them to get their goalie to use clear plastic wrap to cover some of the net because they'll need it.
