It was pretty cool them putting Mustaine in there.

Philly beat the Pens in every facet of the game last night. Biron stood tall too. Things went the Flyers way last night. Here's hoping that ends come Sunday.

Great effort by Turco and the Stars...once again-glaring missed calls by officials...Draper with a crosscheck to dude's face which even left a red mark like the shaft of the stick on the guy's cheek.

Go Pens! What an awesome display of total control by the Pens! Fleury was brilliant when he had to be.

Now come on Stars and take it to seven games against Detroit.

Several things went wrong this series. Biron played like ass. However, that can be excused somewhat as it's very hard to win on 1 or 2 goals if you even score that many. Your big money and vets didn't step up. Prospal, Knuble, and Briere were so-so to horrible. Finally, you have the fact they played like they just met each other on the bus. Richards, Upshall, and Hatcher were about the only guys who were there the whole series. The rest were in and out or non existent. That said, considering they should not of even been there, and you get invaluable experience made a win-win, and placed them a good year ahead of my predictions. They'll be back next year

Absolute domination by the Pens after being dominated on Thursday. My hat is off to Philly and their fans...they showed way more class than I expected. Here's to renewing the rivalry next year.

Detroit fucked around and let Dallas back in it. Dallas is playing very well right now, worries me a bit. If they can take the game tonight, Detroit is in trouble. But I expect them to come out tonight with more intensity then they have showed in the last 2 games.

Maybe. I think the Stars needed that time to get over the 4 overtime game with the Sharks. I didn't think so until I saw how good they have played the last 2 games. They are playing like they did against San Jose. So Detroit needs to up the pressure or they will have a lot on their plate. So far, they are playing fairly conservative. They need to go for the throat tonight right from the start.
