That last "hit" on Osgood which caused all the Rabble-Rabble was a good piece of acting by Ozzie. You have to love or hate that about him, he is a good actor.

Well, being a Wings fan I know this won't carry much weight but I don't think he was acting either. He was hit and went down. Now, if he hadn't held out his left arm he may not have been hit at all. He had nothing to gain either way.

Detroit is D...not only do they have good mobile defensmen who can transition quickly, the play total TEAM defense...what wins cups people?...Defense.

I thought the Wings played their worst period last night in the 2nd period and Pittsburgh still couldnt get anything going...

It will be interesting to see how game 3 pans out with Pittsburgh getting the last change. I wouldn't worry too much on match ups as Detroits top 2 lines can shut any line in the league.

The Pens have no answer, I saw it Tippetts eyes after 2 games in the Dallas series (hence his whining) and I see it in Therriens eyes, desperate times cause for desperate actions...whine parties about officiating.

I anticipate game 3 being much more tighter, the lobbing of officials will get more calls go their way. They'll be pumped for their own crowd. Detroit just needs to match intensity, continue on the forecheck and shut down the neutral zone and they'll be fine

Malkin has been a huge disappointment. How many times will it take before he realizes that he's not going to skate the puck through the neutral zone?

Game two could have been a different story had the Pens been able to convert on some of their chances. Fact is they haven't been able to do that for two games now which hurts when Fleury seems to rattles as well...he should have stopped 2 of those three goals.

Bottom line is the Wings are playing stifling D and are showing superior puck management across the board. On top of that, they seem to be getting the bounces going their way which just adds to their effectiveness. The Pens may take one or two tops in the end but they don't seem to have what it takes to ultimately win this series.

well game three is tonight... if the penguins win it's a series, if they don't win this one they might not score in this series. the wings are playing to good right now and they are getting the close calls too . hopefully the penguins can find an answer... but we'll see

The Pens outplayed us in every facet of the game tonight. Here is the series I thought we would have.

Pens finally showed up to play. I thought it was a pretty evenly played game. Both teams missed their fair share of wide open chances, and both goalies played solid. Osgood kept the Wings in it for sure.

Just glad to see the Pens make it a little respectable. Now we can just get Hal Gill would start throwing his weight around like Brooks Orpik. Gill looked terrible again tonight.
