How is that different from whats going on in "normal" society? Kids are having kids. Maybe the percentage is higher in the compound but that shit is going on in every city in the country.

Yes ..seen it all the time. Girls in welfare families having three to four kids by the ripe old age of 21. Some having babies by the time they were 13!!!

Forget the welfare system aspect of this - that's just money (and we squander more in an hour in Iraq than those women did in a few years). The abuse and manipulation of women and children is disgraceful.

What kills me in this thread is some peoples attitude about this story. They cry for these kids that were taken advantage of by older men and by religion and whatnot. Pure victims thiese girls.

But take that girl out of the compund and put here in the inner city of Cleveland and have her draw welfare for her 3 kids and then they get grilled by those that look to defend them in the other situation.

At least these kids had dads, right? Or is it because these girls are white and the "general" stereotype of a welfare cheat is black? I wonder.

I am talking about the welfare fraud, that is the big story here. Not who was doing who. I could care less about that. I don't really see these kids as victims. You might, I don't really see them as that.

Not sure if they are gunning for rape charges. It would be hard to prove that. Perhaps once the DNA results come back, the findings may conclude Adults are have sex with Minors, that is where breaking the law comes to play.

That's Statutory Rape, right? Seems cut and dry to me. I don't know why they are not charging them with it.

But there are none so far. So maybe that kind of stuff is not going on and it's all just media hype. Maybe they are taking their time and crossing all their T's and whatnot. I don't know.

Just kind of wondering, but to collect welfare on these unwed mothers do they have to declare they do not know who the father is? That way the state does not go after the father? If so, not only can they go after the men for back payment on the welfare, but also charge the women for being fraudulent with the claim? I don’t think it would be hard to prove the women know due to there are only so many dicks in the compound they never leave.
If that is the case, the lawyers may defend the women with the claim they are victims and should not be charged. This may bring out the light on what really goes on with that cult.

I don't know what the answer is here either. It's a strange and confusing story. I did think these kids didn't need to be taken away from their mothers and forced into foster care. That didn't make sense to me.

But wasn't this country founded on people being able to do stuff like this? I guess that shows how far we've come as a society.

Maury doesn't do 500 DNA tests at a time. and if you didn't know, it's not live in realtime on Maury either. The results segment is usually done weeks later.

When the DNA tests for 500+ people come back, you will probably see both statutory rape charges and dunning for back child support - maybe even some incest charges as the community is generations old and there are only a few surnames.

The govt took a call from a nut job black woman and turned it into this crap. They are exercising there freedom of religion right.. Sorry, but that's an incredibly stupid argument. If my religion involves human and/or animal sacrifice should that be allowed as well? Because there are plenty of those nutty religions as well.

Freedom of religion does not extend to the freedom to violate the rights of others.

It is allowed. Do you see the govt rading the catholic diocese?? Do you see the govt investigating satanist organizations?? Sorry but the govt overstepped there bounds on this one. Like I said I dont support the compound behavior but its still a constituional issue for me.
