hey all,
some of you know about my friend's daughter, kaitlyn. she's a super talented kid, and i gave her guitar lessons for about a year and a half. she's ten years old, and when i first met them, i knew that she'd someday be famous. she's kinda like jack black in that she's got a very fast sense of humor, and loves pointy guitars.
anyway, for the past year, she and her dad have been going to los angeles to get her some acting gigs. she landed a mcdonald's commercial that is rock themed, and she just finished up a movie.
I got an email from kaitlyn's mom, who gave me the link to the mcdonald's commercial. she told me that the more hits the page gets, the better the chances are of it airing. so everyone, please take a minute and watch the video. she's the guitar player in the commercial. the black mini strat is hers, and YES, she can really play.
here's the short commercial:
here's the director's cut, which is better:
if you watch closely in the directors cut, she does the "raise your goblet to the gods of rock" move from school of rock. that was a part of our early lessons.
and here she is a year or so ago at a talent show:
thanks!
sully
