IIRC in a previous interview he talks about how he was ready to go back to Jackson and they were going to bring his old models back but someone said that Dean was interested in signing him. He didn't take that seriously and jokingly said he would sign with them if they payed him an exorbitant amount of money. Well obviously Dean wanted him that badly so they payed him and made what is essentially a King V with bevels on the sides of the wings so they wouldn't be exactly copying Jackson. Same with the stupid dot/shark fin inlay things. I'm trying to find the issue of Guitar World that interview was in.

Clevo-John and I NEVER met a bigger asshole than Al Petrelli, when he was in Savatage. We hated that fag ever since.

You know i hear al is an asshole alot but he was a totally cool dude when i met him at a savatage show. My friend was doing sound and said he could introduce me to fates warning (were awesome but no matter what, when you give a band like that a 30-minute slot, they are going to play a lame setlist) anyway i was having drinks backstage and got to chill with everyone in savatage, jack frost showed me his rig and had some killer jacksons/charvels (including a strathead star i kept trying to talk him out of). The only one that was even remotely assholeish was that fake singer guy. Probably because i referred to him as "fake singer guy." He deserves it though.

Jack Frost is such a fuggin' nice guy. He was using Powerballs and that's when I just got my Uberschall, we taled alot about that. Maybe Al was bumping heads with Jon Oliva. Jon was a real dickhole too. Chris Caffery was super nice tho..we talked to him for some time. During the show Al blatantly showed his discontent whenever they did any classic Criss Olia stuff. He rolled his eyes when Cafferty played the Criss stuff . He turn his back..kept yawning and rolled his eyes. We thought that wasn't cool. When we met him, he just walked away with a major attitude. Prolly animosity in the camp..but he was a tool that night..on and off the stage.

He's a good player. I nevr thought he was "great". but he's extremely versatile, and that's why he gets alot of work because of his talents. So that's cool

As far as Megadeth's guitar revolving door. Chris Poland was early 'deth, Marty is incredible, I always was a fan of Drover. I knew Chris Broderick since he got the job with Jag Panzer replacing Joey Tafolla. Chris became a monster player. I saw the biggest change when he supported Nevermore..playing with Jeff lit a fire under his ass. That carried over onto JP's Casting the Stone..

I predict Chris will be awesome in Megadeth..he's going to blow alot of people away..he's is that good!
