I respect Dave for speaking what's on his mind but lately he sounds like a 13 year old girl who has periods 24/7... what an asshat
he is probably offended that his songs were easy for Al to learn.... I don't know what the heck he was thinking... Al is more of a session guy... it's his JOB to learn stuff quickly otherwise he couldn't get the gigs.

I've been a fan of Dave and Megadeth for 23 years now (last album sucked, though) and I've witnessed him saying many things that some might consider rude, inappropriate, self-serving, needlessly boastful, etc. But that bit about having to "jettison" anyone not talented enough to be his son's friend... now, that's just beyond even my ability to apologize for him.

It also makes me wonder what ever became of the legendary "other lover," Diana. She was the inspiration for several very important songs, the reason for (at least) Jeff Young's departure from the group, and yet he married and had kids with a forner swimsuit model. I wonder what she did for Dave to "jettison" her? Gain twenty pounds maybe?

what i found funny is that both he and Navarow were like oblivious to music theory, and even had to count the frets on the guitar to tell if it was 24 frets, lol. like how the hell do you get to that level and not at least pick up the basics of theory or scales / modes ect..?
