It didn't sound half bad.
Wait and see I guess....Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

I'm getting a bit fed up with this theme-metal. The ripper did it to Iced Earth, now Judas Priest's doing it too.
But glad to hear Halford back with JP
And how did Ripper "do" it to Iced Earth? He had no say in that band, just sang what Jon Shafter told him.
And halford's been back with JP for years.

If Jon Schaffer wrote all the stuff for Iced Earth with the Ripper, then I think he did a mediocre job compared to the other albums.

I did the free DL last night. Listened to it a bunch of times. The playing is awesome. The lyrics are different. Is he really singing "Nostradamas he's our man" or am I just hearing it wrong??? RH sounds great though. Why hunt ... when there is no machine gun season?

Sounds like NightCrawler which was great, but I really wish Priest would go back into Point of Entry and British Steel territory.
Musically, it was pretty cool and shows Rob can still throw it out there and they can all still play.
I just can't believe that the Lochness Monster and Nostradamus are viable subject matter when we have so much better song writing from them in the pastWhen you take a shower in space, you have to press the water onto your body to clean yourself, and then you gotta vacuum it off. - Ace Frehley
