So as you might know I live in Germany since a few months and I share an appartment with a collegue. This guy is into metal too so you'd say ok.. cool...
But he's one entirely morinic moron who, although he's very intelligent, has quite a distorted view of reality with a peculiar interest in languages (like he corrects british speaking people on their english).
So last night I proposed to go out in a bar close to where we live... everything's fine until he starts ordering wodka red-bulls, and another one... after about 8 he's drunk enough to start imitating hilter (of all people) when he's talking to some regular people (loud voice, obnoxious behaviour, accentuating certain words etc..) who obviously don't appreciate that shit. It goes on and on to the point where he stands 5 cm from a guy's face and salutes the way he shouldn't in Germany...
It came >.< that close to a fist fight if I wasn't there to send the moron home and calm down the guy who he was facing. Fortunately that guy appreciated me because I was acting normal like any swell guy would
, but man... I could have hit my collegue in the face as well, the way he was acting.... Such a moron, I mean, if you're new to a culture don't try to enforce your beliefs or customs on them! Go along with the flow and make the best of it. I got drunk, made new friends and enjoyed everyone's company
