Did a search for "mixed drinks" and found a thread that was four years old, back when I didn't drink. 
So lately I'm indulging responsibly. I'm open to simple tasty cocktail recipes if you guys post the details, especially those involving soft drinks like the ones I like below!
Jack & Coke
I just had my first one just now. I've had variations on whiskey and cola but never these two iconic names together. I actually think Jack Daniel's is gross on its own, but mixed 1:1 with Coca-Cola on the rocks is delicious! Hard to resist drinking it down quickly.
Vodker Pepper
This was a recent one I discovered after randomly Googling vodka and Dr. Pepper. I had my first Dr. Pepper in about 14 years, and while it tastes decent on its own, it seems to come to life mixed 5:1 with Stolichnaya vodka. No need for ice since the Stoli is from the freezer and the Dr. Pepper is from the fridge. I'm currently out of Dr. Pepper so I'm gonna try substituting Coke, A&W root beer, Pepsi, etc. to see how I like it. May up the ratio of vodka too.
