My thoughts are... People been talking Armageddon since the being of man. Will it happen who knows. Can it happen yes. IMO Humans have to have a starting point (Religion) and ending point (Armageddon / Rapture or whatever). If it does happen I think you will see the ugliness of what human are capable of. It will be everyone for themselves.

Well, jump on her bones quick. She has the propensity to be a porker. Not that I mind a little meat on the bones.

On the gloom and doom prophesy thing, I have my own worthless opinions (to everyone but me). So I'll make a few points of interest (to me) and then leave it alone. Religion and politics.... no escaping either..........

Religions and their belief systems are a necessary godsend and a necessary evil for mankind. On the bright side, MOST provide social order and promote goodwill. Without it the world would be total chaos, no rules, kill or be killed. With it comes perceived importance and eventually power. Power comes from control. You provide the belief system and get peeps to buy into it then you are in control-you have the power.

I do have some religious bones in my body. But I am an agnostic-Not an atheist. And certainly not one to chew and swallow every word from one source/book that is fed to me. It was written by men, for men, after all. Call it "the word of God" all you like but it was named and written as such by men. Plus there is the entire editorial thing that happened to the King James. Many editorials for the purpose of a political ruler, then further bastardized over time. I.E., Confession. LOLOL! NM, I really don't want to get started on that POS practice.

In the end, if you believe in God, no matter which religion, then you have to understand that God gave us the power to choose. With our choices comes consequences and rewards. If you don't believe in God, then that's fine too. Personally, I DO believe in a higher power (above and beyond us pathetic humans). I guess my religion is Karma based. It's all on the wheel. I try very hard to keep my Karma debt extremely low.

Am I Gettin' It? Well, the world and the entire universe has both order and chaos (calculated randomness). So certain things WILL happen for sure while other things are uncertain. The world will end for us humans. This galaxy we live in WILL collide with its neighboring galaxy. And the sun WILL expire eventually.

Again, there is a higher (than us) power. Call IT what you like. And my opinion is that anyone who thinks the entire existences in our universe (including our being) is all just some random, pot luck event, you're reaching way beyond what a total religious, bible thumping nut believes.

Life is short. Play hard. Find real friends, a good mate (or three) and fuck til your sack falls off. If you're the solemn type, beat off til your blisters callous. Leave the end of the world shit for the power(s) that be to handle.

Oh, and on/from the original thread point, WTF are you thinking liking a girl w/such hangups. I can see wanting to boink. Leave the JW bitches back at the hotel room. They tend to have MAJOR issues.
