Nokia phones

Has Nokia given up on the US market? I'm in the market for a new phone and would like to stick with Verizon, but it seems like they've dropped Nokia for a bunch of shitty Asian stuff.

Do I need to buy an unlocked phone from overseas and switch to ATT/Cingular/whateverthefuckisonGSM or does Nokia make anything that runs on CDMA anymore?

For whatever reason, Verizon has the best service in both cities in which I've lived recently.
