  • UEFA Cup Final!

FOr the first time in my 31 years on this planet, my team, Glasgow Rangers are in a European final. Hasn't happened since 1972!
MOst of my pals have travelled down to Manchester even though they don't have tickets, so I'm off to the pub to watch it with another pal who, like me, had to work today.

I'm starting to feel rather sick from nerves, even though I don't expect us to win.

Just what Manchester needs, several hundred Sweaty Socks wandering round pished oot a they heeds, wailing and singing about how brilliant Scotland is. And breaking things.
Tell them to go to Canal St., there are some lovely drinking establishments and they positively welcome, with open arms, men wearing skirts.

            Come on Celtic!!

            Are they playing?

            What about Hamilton Academicals?

Ah, sod it, C-U Jimmy! <Thwack>
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

            I nearly broke her back

The funny thing is in the local news here it would seem that almost all the hotel rooms have been taken by Russian fans with the Scots forced to camp is some of the public parks in and around Manchester.

Oh how the times have changed. Ten years ago it would have been a bowl of cabbage soup for Boris, now it's a fucking sweet at the Midland hotel...

Best to avoid the middle of Manc tonight and tomorrow morning I think.
Fwopping, you know you want to!

Best to avoid the middle of Manc, full stop.
I bet those Jocks camping in the park looks like a scene from Braveheart, only with more Tennents Super.
Ah well, they'll all be wearily heading off in defeat (as per usual), back Home, back to Corby. (Where they'll have a sing-song about Ally's Tartan Army who are off to the Argentine - missing out the verse where they come home with their tails between their legs)

Never mind you Caledonian bassa's, sit yersel doon an we'll look after yers. Like we have done for hundreds of years, fear not, we won't let you declare Independance yet, not till we can build Passport Control at Carlisle. Kiss ma bawbag!

On another note, it was a shame to hear about Tommy Burns. Seemed a good guy.

I wasn't actually talking to you when I said "Bastard", I was just saying it in general after last night's events, ya thick English twat.
I don't wish I'd seen Satch- I've seen him before, and he'll come again. That game last night will never happen again any time soon, so I had to watch it.
                            Still feeling rough though.

LOL, oh, of course, silly me. A slightly bewildered Scot minging of stale alcohol, calling no-one in particular a bastard. Hmmm, now there's a rarity for us English to see something like that!!

And to think all your mates had such fun rampaging through Manchester wrecking the place, all because the big screen crapped out. I'd love to know which AV company was responsible for that one.....so I can take the piss next time our paths cross.

Rangers should have fielded those legendary Scot footballers Rod Stewart and BA Robertson (wasn't he in the Scottish A-team re-make?). Or maybe Jimmy Sommerville, reknowned for going in hard in the penalty box.
I'm a footie tactical genius, me. That's what everyone says when I go to see my team - Nuneaton Area Sunday League, Dog & Gun Reserve Eleven, and cheer them on from the...erm, bar. Everyone knows I've a World Class football coach's brain. Alas, it's Brian Clough - totally pickled and fucking useless.
