House centipedes, while extremely scary since they move so fast, are actually good in that they eat other insects and spiders.

They are pretty benificial but damn scary. They move wrong, all wrong. Freak me out.

I saw one last night in the basement. Couldn't crush it before it was gone.

I found a picture of one online and their eyes are pretty cool actually. Big, black and faceted.

Wait a minute, spiders are benificial too as they eat insects! In my garage I leave spiders alone since they are pretty harmless. I have not run across any Brown Recluses or Black Widows which as far as I know are about the only potentially dangerous spiders to man in the continental US. All others get to stay

A spider bite wont kill a normal healthy adult. But it can kill babies and the weakened elderly. A friend of mine was bit by a spider while drying her hands on a towel at home. She didtn notice what kind it was cus it got smooshed by her hands. But it bit her before she it went smoosh. Biut her being a healthy adult. She still had issues with soreness. felt dizzy and was having problems staying awake. If untreated she couldve had some series issues like a major organ shutting down. She finaly went to the doctor and got drugs to combat the venom. And felt better after a day of medication. But it couldve been worse.
Spider bites no matter what kind of spider it is can be bad. Its a foreign substance in our bodies that is used to shut down and paralize its prey. And wothout meds to counter that venom.. problems can arise.
