I found a wolf spider in my house too, ehr....two years ago I belive. Actually it's a cool story. I was home alone, my parents were out of the city. I was just back home, it was like 23.00 o'clock? Well it was night. It was in my country house and I sit at my desk, turned on the computer and the desk lamp. Then my attention got cought by a movement that I saw with the side of my left eye. I turned to see what was happening.....and I see this fucker that was climbing the rope of the courtains! So I jumped away from my chair and said "FUCK!". It was pretty near you know, something like 30cm from my face maybe! Then I used one of those things used to put dresses in the closet and put the spider inside a glass jar. I watched it for a couple of minutes and then I let him go in the garden. It was bigger than the one in the pic above, I believe it was longer than 2,5 inch! Cool night to remember!

Packing up before a recent performance, I opened my trunk to find something beautiful and creepy. Some spidey layed her eggs inside my Warwick guitar stand. The eggs had hatched and about 1000 tiny spiders all sat on one delicate web. It billowed in a breeze in this strange matrix of tiny orange spiders. I felt like I was about to have an acid flashback!
My friend's father was killed by a brown recluse bite, so yeah those sons'o'bitches are no joke.

Fuck Zeeg, I'm glad I havn't found one of those fuckers yet in my house! I didn't think those sombitches could live here, but boy was I fuckin wrong!
I hope I don't run into any crazy shit this summer, but It seems as though that might happen as it gets hotter and hotter here.
I hate those centipede poll smokers I hope the spider eats the shit out of it and teabags it with it's "spiderballs"

I hate to be the one to tell ya Zeegs, but that's NOT a centipede. I find those around here to, and I don't know exactly what they are...but they aren't Centipedes. I think they're related to crickets.
Wolf spiders a very cool though! My goal in life is to be the kind of asshole my wife thinks I am.

We had this discussion a while ago. They are centipedes. Called House Centipedes.
Zeegs,
This should be good. The centipede eats spiders. Any battles yet?I'm angry because you're stupid

I have plenty of those two critters here in my old damp basement. Zeegs would be in heaven! They dropped in population because I sprayed the basement and it keeps 'em in check. But whenever I throw a damp towel downstairs there will be one of those sumbitches under it 50% of the time. Those centipedes or large cricket cousins creep upstairs sometimes, but those spiders stay in the basement. We have smaller greenish beige spiders upstairs. I have to spray for them too, or just sqish 'em in a paper towel. Occassionaly one of us wakes up with a spider bite. Nothing serious, kinda like a mosquito bite. I have alot of boston ivy on the house. That brings in all kings of shit like earwigs with those pincheres on their asses. I never had roaches..I'll burn my fuggin' house down if I had those. Roaches freak me out more than any other bug because they're nasty. Everying fuggin' house in the ghetto has roaches..zillions of 'em. Roaches are like pets in the ghetto , they feed the fuckers popcorn...nah, fuck those dirty bastids."Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!
"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

Bengal's 100% correct- House centipedes are just as nasty predators as spiders are. Maybe worse. If you're seeing alot in your house, there's something they're eating. I live in a city- Typically means there's roaches about.
I lived in one apartment that had roaches- the lady in the brownstone next to me was very old, couldn't take care of the place. They were coming from her place. It's horrible. Like you're always in combat, at any moment, ready to fight.
I can deal with ants, spiders, silverfish, whatever. Roaches are on a completely different level.
