His comments concerning that young lady were horrendous in nature. Then, his final post in which he used a racial slur, proved to me that this young man needed more guidance as a child. In other words, he needed more ass whoopins!

A few weeks ago, he was banned for a week when he also used the racial slur. I guess he couldn't deal with the heat of everyone here bagging on him now, so he took the easy way out this time and begged me to ban him by saying it again.

I didn't like this guy either. But I kept my mouth closed. When I go off on someone I get very close to being banned so I don't go after racists like I use to.

I also kept my 2 cents out of it because I didn't see the point to adding fuel to the fire, and he didn't need any help. I guess I didn't need to express my opinion in my above comment, but the picture just rubbed me the wrong way...

My dear old dad used to say "son, people create 95% of their own problems." This kid, from day one, came on the forums with both guns blazing. Hell, several people tried to calm him down and even Bill tried to settle him down by "taking him under his wing."

Yea, he got beat down. However, he not only encouraged it, he deserved it.

I've always thought that bullshit needs to be called out and exposed for the shit it is. That's how I do it. I do it here, and I do it in my personal life. If someone uses a slur, it's our job to call that person out for the racist he/she is. Period. That's what we need to do as a society. How's that person going to know that the racist/sexist/whateverist talk is unacceptable? Maybe they come from a family that accepts that kind of thing. So it's our job to let people know when they are being intollerant/ignorant/stupid/whatever.

Course, that can also get you in "trouble", but that's OK. The message is the important thing, not the concequences.
