rockin with the "little ole band" from texas. i know he doesn't play anything fancy, in fact just a power chord. to me it's still refreshing to see the younger dudes playing the old classics.
    Guitars... Rhoads RX10D
    Amp... Pioneer
    Effects... Boss ME-20

Good to see a band do ANYTHING at all to get themselves on TV.

What a fucking joke. Was that guy even PLAYING? You can't hear him at all during the "solo".

I would say going on one of the most watched television programs in the USA to perform a classic song is good business. Would Jethro Tull pass up that kind of exposure? Maybe? Hell, no one wants to see them anyway.

That was the only moment of AI that I even entertained, this year, as I've found the show to get predictable and boring, and the contestants to be lackluster. I would've much rather heard Billy sing it, instead of that David kid, and his guitar strumming was pointless in the performance, since it was too low in the mix. Best as I could tell, all he was doing was straight-up power chord chugging.

That Cook guy has an acceptable bar band voice, but why all the hype?

Now *this* http://youtube.com/watch?v=LmeS3v_w4Kk impressed me once or twice.
