Not an apology to me...to everybody that was told "fuck you" who didn't deserve it. Just making the point that the people here are obviously better than they were given credit for. Where better to make my point than the place where the people actually showed that they deserved to be treated better than they were. Ancient history is irrelevant if nothing was ever done to make amends for something, to use your term, that was "classless".

And the other part of my post was positive and congratulatory...and sincere.

Nothing was meant to be offensive Tekky...if you take it that way, you missed my point. If you think you got my point and still are offended, I would have to say that we're simply worlds apart as to what we think is appropriate and what isn't...to each his own.

Not to open a can of worms but I would look into your need to protect K from all of us. It seems to be a pattern here. She can stand up for herself. But you said all the jokes were getting to close to the "line", where ever that is, and now Rupe is over the "line", where ever that is, about asking about a past issue.

Let K make the line. She is the only one who can.

But like I said, I'm not trying to open a can of worms but I've noticed a pattern here lately.

I've been known to be very loyal to friends. I've done whatever I can to help Karyn through some anxious moments. Sometimes I see issues in non-issues and try to head things off at the pass, right or wrong. The intent is there, execution could probably be better. Over-protective of friends? Yeah, maybe. Can I change it? Probably not, not really sure I want to.

I'll say this, Karyn is definitely a lot more even-tempered than I am. Apparently she's taking some duck hormones because a lot more rolls off her back than in the past.



Ultimately, this thread isn't about me. It's about a friend of mine who's making her mark in the world.

Todd and Kristi have been nothing short of amazing friends to my wife and I. They have both gone out of their way to help me feel comfortable and treat me the way that they felt was most positive to my well being. Todd at times has felt that this was hard enough for me to go through that he wants to take some of the burdon and make it easier on me emotionally. Kristi has talked me through some of the more emotional aspects of the change and let me vent at times. I could not ask for better friends than that. So, I totally understand why he would have my back.

I really appreciate their friendship..

Before I had so much tension because of my issue that I was always on the edge of snapping. When things would go wrong here I'd be in a rant on the phone to Sully for the smallest of things. The hormonal change has alleviated a lot of that and allows me to let things roll more now. It's a nice change and something I'd never want to give back

Anyway I felt it better if I explained why he seems to have my back a lot ..He just cares a lot...nothing wrong with that..
