No offense taken but I did derail the thread.

As for the Charvel in my avatar its at Jackson/Charvel hopefully getting a new neck since the original one was warped from the factory.

Any system will have problems. I used to live 70 miles out of Canada in New York state. There were a few people slipping down across the border to get medical care, mainly because the US facilities were geographically closer to them. But again, ask any Canadian if they want their healthcare system to be like ours, every single one of them will tell you NO.

AM Hate Radio propaganda fails. No one ever said anything was going to be "free." We have successful models in every other industrialized nation that we can take ideas from. The only problem is the monolithic insurance company lobby that won't just give up if we tell them to go away.

There were a few people slipping down across the border to get medical care, mainly because the US facilities were geographically closer to them. But again, ask any Canadian if they want their healthcare system to be like ours, every single one of them will tell you NO.

There are people slipping across our southern border that I dont want to pay for their healthcare either. Our system sucks but I will deal with it.

I know GOV will be in your life no matter what but I do not want them having control of me and my health and making me go and give blood and get chipped to make sure I am a good boy. Thats too much GOV. They are now stopping our cars at "immigration" and "safety" check points during the day. Its sad we live in a police state and I have a problem with that.

Look guys, we (notice I said "we") broke an established rule discussing religion and politics it was inevitable that it was gonna go bad. A good thread got crapped on and now it needs to be fixed. My suggestion, even though it's gonna take a little effort, is for everyone that's posted ANYTHING unrelated to the spirit of the thread, to get busy deleting their posts. The problem is their children ruining the already flawed public school system. You wont hear about that on the news. How immigrant children that cannot speak English prevent everyone else in the class from advancing forward. Ask any mother in my area with public school children how she feels about illegals and their children's education. Part of that is due to "No Child Left Behind" so I can join the Bush bashing on that one.

Most immigrant's coming here are bringing Hepatitis as well as TB with them along with other diseases according to the CDC. When we had Ellis Island immigrants would be screened and quarentined if they needed to be.

You think salmonella or other diseases on produce may be related to unhealthy migrant workers deficating in the fields?

Second, sure a majority of immigrants are hard workers they bring along the entire family with them that take our social services and use our ER's as primary care locations. This is why our healthcare system is starting to suck.

My parents migrated from Croatia legally becoming US Citizens and my Grandma became a US citizen right before she died. Seeing all these illegals here taking advantage is a slap in the face to my family and all the hard work they have done to get here.

I want to get this stated up front. I am not a republican nor democrat I believe they have a similar agenda and that is to control me and you, some of my views are conservative some are liberal. People have called me a "Rational Liberal" as well as a "Ultra-Right Wing extremenist."

I'd like to see the data on the "most immigrants" bringing diseases. I found the reference I was looking for, of Lou Dobbs claiming Mexicans bringing 7000 cases of leprosy in the three years prior to 2007. Which has been soundly disproven. But again, why would you not want to cure these people?

I'm not a botanist, so I can't speculate on the recent salmonella outbreaks. If it's what you (and probably Lou Dobbs) are claiming, though, I gotta wonder what's taken it so long to manifest.

You brought up "Mexicans" I was refering to Chinese illegals regarding the TB and Hepatitis. I am anti "Illegal immigration" and an equal oportunity "hater" I dont care where your from just get the fuck out if you should not be here.
