Yeah, that sucks. Happened to my house about 15 years ago. All the person took was the wifes jewelry box and a pillow case. The insurance was good for $1500, no special riders needed. But it was mostly the idea of it. It was right before Christmas and all the packages were wrapped and covered with a blanket in our bedroom, nothing taken. I think my family interrupted the act by arriving home. There were fresh footprints in the falling snow out the old sliding glass door in the BR. On the up side my wife swore off buying jewelry for like 10 years.
Glad to hear no one was hurt.
