wasn't Ron Jeremy in the "most important mountin' film"? And alpinism is a form of alopecia

Run Fatboy Run should be included. It's a great "man transcends against the odds" film as Simon Pegg transforms from tubby mall security guard to (barely) complete an amateur marathon in an attempt to impress the girl he left at the altar

I can tell there aren't a lot of Canadian's here, due to the lack of posts about the original Slapshot with Paul Newman.

Fucking hell, I was reading down this thread, saw this and thought "That's exactly what I was thinking! That person must be incredibly intelligent and a connoiseur of fine German pornography." Then I saw which fucking idiot posted it...

Rebound- great call Gary, that movie was severe, "the goat" was Kareem abdul jabbar's most feared player, and he was very short, but could play and dunk like he was 6' 10". but the drugs took him down.

nice selection there, Tommy. I watched Eight Men Out again recently. Love it.

Rocky? I know loads of people rate it, but I liked it better when Paul Newman made it in the 50s. If you haven't' seen Somebody Up There Likes Me, check it out. Brilliant.

Coach Carter is another good one. Made me want to bang out 1,500 pushups & 2,500 windsprints to get on the team.

I'll add "Riding Giants" and good old "The Endless Summer" to the list.
