Trial - closing statements Monday

Well folks, the trial is nearing the end. Closing statements will start at 9 AM on Monday. I will most likely be making the trip down for it. The defense is expected to rest their case this afternoon. The defendant did not take the stand.

Mojo sent for a guilty verdict and maximum penalty at sentencing. I would support the death penalty for a serial rapist if such a sentence were on the table.

Thanks all. I am pretty much climbing up the walls right now. I so want this all over! Overall I feel pretty good about what they have - even without dna. The guy was a cop and took major effort to leave nothing behind. But I think there is definitely too many things point right at him to just all be coincidence - and I don't even know everything they have. There's still that part of me that is terrified of him getting out, but that's just the PTSD talking. It's taken 5 years to get to this point, and I can wait a few more days to hear guilty.
