  • hoq to record good audio on a Casio Exilim EX-S880

I bought a Casio Exilim EX-S880 some months ago and it's a great camera but the manual that comes with it basicly only tells you on how to turn on the cam and to turn it off. I basicly know must of the stuff but I'm having trouble getting good audio on the videos when it's loud music (like trying to record a live band). I would have really like it if the manual would say different was to set up the camera to get the best of some situations.

Does anyone know a good forum or web site that can give me some info on this camera or on how to get better audio while recording videos with this?

The Mics in Camcorders are typicly poor quality. Try running an external Mic if you can.

I remember some of the older ones had a mic gain switch you could select high or low. See if its in the menu somewhere. Set it to low if so.
