Just getting back on track from going to the hospital emergency room because I had some pain on my sides. After much labwork and a CT scan they found nothing. The pain has decreased, although I'm still feeing a bit sore. Was quite a bit scary, with them talking about kidneys, diabetes, diverticulitis and so on. If I am not feeling better by Sunday probably gonna go get a second opinion. This is definitely an eye opening experience.

Wow.
Did you eat or drink anything strange, or at a place you haven't before?
When I was riding my bicycle from San Diego to Atlantic City (back in '86, when I got out of the army) I had some bad food (in Texas actually... go figure) and the food poisoning I ended up with started that way.
Killer cramps/side pains.
It eventually spread everywhere and I basically wanted to die.
4 days of that and I was back on the bike though.
Mine had plenty of up-chucking and ass pyrotechnics, so if you don't have that to go along with the side cramps, I doubt it's food poisoning.
Not a great memory.
Hope you're feeling better soon!!!!!"Wow,... that was some of the hardest rockin ever. Hardest to listen too."

Damn and I love popcorn at the movies.
Really though, at 39 I need to watch my eating and exercise habits. Especially since I know I have an irregular heartbeat caused by a benign right branch. My heart has never been an issue with me but I need to take precautions so that it doesnt become one.

+1 i've had it for a couple years now and when it kicks in it's miserable and very dangerous. Basically the Doc said don't eat anything that wont digest, Like Alvin said nuts, seeds, any kind of corn. There's a 5 day BRAT diet if it does happen, Banannas, rice, applesauce, and toast. Also, if you take Nexium talk to your doc about something else, I haven't had an attack since I quit taking it. Hope you feel better.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I smoked my ass off for 17 years, and still drink too much, eat steak every-other day, eat sushi, fried chicken, ribs, BBQ, and every thing I can think of that will end it sooner... and I'm just starting to feel 44.
LOL
