All I can find, is the preferences tabs, and it's not in there. I have Acid Pro 6.0 by the way. I've looked, and can't find a settings tab.

Isn't there a 3rd party ASIO driver thing somewhere? I think that's what I had to get for my SB Audigy.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Okay, I figured it out. Although I had changed the audio device in the computer control panel, Acid Pro was still trying to use the shitty on-board sound. In the Preferences menu, on the Audio Device tab, you can change that, AND set the latency to auto detect and offset.
It works PERFECTLY now.
I'm so fucking happy now. Thanks guys!.

the previous poster was suggesting that you disable the shitty onboard one through Windows Device Manager (you can get there through My Computers->Properties) and simply use your external one for all your sound needs.

As for using the UX2 as my default audio device all the time, that's not possible, since my computer speakers don't connect to it, at least not without messing around with adapter and whatnot. I just use the UX2 when I'm recording.
