I'm a slow as molasses typist as well. however, I've solved all such issues by not logging off.
Upon returning to JCF, all the old posts that I checked before are gone and replaced with new unread posts, so it acts as if I did log off.
I clicked the "remember me" box many times, but with no results. Now I just click on the JCF bookmark and I'm in!
