Then I think I read about the raygun thing. That made sense.
    You are correct, sir. Checkit:

Video of him explaining the raygun.

Steve Stevens rips. Always thought that somehow playing with Idol relegated him to "sideshow virtuoso", but I am aware he's done tons of other stuff.

I still don't know what effect he used in the "Rebel Yell" solo, and maybe I don't want to know. Whatever it was, I still love hearing it, 1000x on.

Steve did some of the coolest rock guitar work I've heard on Vince Neil's debut album

also Steve did 2 albums with Terry Bozzio and Tony Levin.... two one of the most influental and unique musicians out there.... they wouldn't have played with Steve if he isn't that good. Awesome albums wich cover all kinds of stuff from rock to jazz fusion, from prog to latin

besides Steve has probably the best hair out of all the guitarists
    Yep..but I wouldn't care if he were bald..he rules!

That entire "exposed" cd is awesome..one of the best guitar tones ever recorded IMO!

I'm into heavier style these days but SS is underatted! His Flaminco stuff is insane!

I have the Black Light Syndrome cds..or whatever they're called. Totally off the cuff and some truly kick ass moments!

Redneck rocker chicks all across the land are putting out for those guys. You and I might think it's silly, but it doesn't matter what we think.
I agree some of the Divas are VERY hot... but they are not really groupies
I like that Torrie and Candice chick
that being said wrestling is still pretty lame in my opinion

Well, I know Yngwie is kind of a polarizing figure, but I don't know, I guess I'm not familier enough with Steve Stevens stuff, I mean I like that stuttering machine gun stuff in Rebel Yell, but really, does Steven Stevens belong with:

    EVH,
    Yngnwie
    Vai
    Gilbert

    ????

or are you dudes just busting my balls for bringing up wrestling???haha!!!

I only know the Billy Idol hits.

I'm listening to "White Wedding" right now, I don't know if Steve played on that, I do know that I used to crack people up with my Billy Idol sneer and punch!
You really need to listen to more Billy Idol. Blue Highway off Rebel Yell had some great guitar. But shit, the song Rebel Yell had some smoking guitar going on.

But get Idols latest Devils Playground. Some kick ass rock and roll guitar on that album.

Steve had his own band back in the day called The Atomic Playboys that were pretty good. There was a sweet instrumental called Running Through The Sands Of Time or some kind of lame title like that. It was good.

Didn't he also play on Vince Neils first Solo CD? The one with You're Invited But Your Friend Can't Come? I seem to remember he played lead on that one as well.

Fuckin' great rock guitarist. I've always liked him.
