My drummer got killed last night.

      Really sorry to hear about this zeeg. Just take care of yourself, ok? Remember, what's meant to be is meant to be, even though we may never understand it.

        Well, there is some more news regarding the accident. My wife's friend Tina just called, and apparently, her mother was an eye witness to the crash. She was driving the opposite direction, and was 20 feet away as James hit the tree. She swears that as James' truck was approaching her, she saw his wheels go on to the shoulder, and that he tried to swerve back onto the road. She claims that there is no way he did it intentionally, just that he was going too fast, and drifted onto the gravel shoulder.

        I know it doesn't change the fact that I just lost one of my best friends senselessly, but for some reason, I feel a whole lot better knowing that he didn't do it on purpose. I never believed it anyway.

        Thanks again to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. You guys (and girls ) are AWESOME!!!

                  I'm glad to hear that this takes a load off your mind, Zeegs. It's terrible regardless, but I just hated to see you thinking you had fault in this.

                  Even if he HAD done it on purpose, that would NOT be your fault, but I know we feel guilt sometimes even when it's not fair to ourselves. So I am glad that this lady being a witness gives you peace of mind. Perhaps she was there to see it for that reason. Must have been terrible for the lady to see it happen though, I hope she is okay.
