  • going to Italy...any guitars? :]

I'm going on a 10 day trip to Italy on Monday, and was wondering if any of you Italian JCF bros could recommend any guitar shops worth visiting while I'm there?
I'm going to Florence, Pisa, and Rome. I know there are probably a lot of expensive guitars just like here in Norway, but I am interested in maybe getting a classical guitar while I'm there (depending on price). Haven't decided on anything but if I try out a really nice guitar I might take it home. Not sure if they would be cheaper in Italy or what builders you have, but I've tried some nice Alhambras (Spanish)
    So just shoot your recommendations
    thanks!

    - Rune.

hey Bill, you should catch the one-o-clock to the old country and we'll share a case of cold whatever-they-serve down there
I've never been there myself, but everyone keeps telling me it's awesome so I'm looking forward to it. I'll check out Vafangu.

Actually it's "Fuck you" in Italian..in most dilalects..mine anywhoo. That words prolly won't go over very well there..then again..who knows. Those fuckers say it all the same and then some. Most of the people I knew growing up were from Italy..I thought Vafangu was a town or something.

I'd love to go there..but my wife wants to go there as bad as I do..so I couldn't do that trip solo. There's gotta be some pretty girls ova-there.

The McDonald's at Italy sucks. You can't even ask for a supersize.

But at Burger King, you can. But they're a LOT less in numbers. I only saw one.And they don't have the dense oil smell such as the McDonald's do.

I take it there are no BK & McDonald's in Turkey? 'Cause those would be the last places I would consider eating were I to venture to Italy. I hear they have pretty good... umm Italian food.

Bill is that the same as http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/vaffanculo

There are LOADS of Burger King and McDonald's franchises here.

When you eat pizza all day and come across one, you just say "ok, what the hell, I'm hungry" and get inside.

                  Hey Rune!

You said Rome, Florence and Pisa uh? I bet it will be an helluva artistic trip!
I dunno many music shop in those cities, but if you go to Siena (it's in Tuscany and it's a really nice small medieval town) you can go to the Emporio Musicale, it's the url http://www.emporiomusicale.it
And don't go there asking for what Bill said!
I hope you'll enjoy your trip in Italy but be prepared for some f*ckin hot weather!
