Working today

I'm working today only because the company requires 3 people per shift. There is absolutely nothing to do but I'm getting my 8 hrs regular pay for working the holiday plus 9.5 hours(I came in early) Time and a half because it's overtime. Double Time and a half to sit here and watch TV? I'll take it.

I came in at 2:30 and be off by 6:30 so that's not bad.

I came in at 2PM and leave at 11:30PM. The cool part is that I'm right across the street from the Amphitheater here and they are going to have a big fireworks show when it gets dark....I'll be able to watch it from the comfort of a 3rd floor air conditioned office. It's 88 degrees out there and the place is packed.

We're setting up the company projector now so we can watch some movies until it gets dark.

I'm channel surfing at the moment. NECKCAR qualifing, Law & Order Marathon, the occasional X-File rerun, and hanging with you fine folks. My lady friend is supposed to be coming over with some pork ribs and some holiday "pie."

Iron Man and Transformers? Nice. I like both those movies.

I rented Vanishing Point on DVD so I'll watch that when I get home.

Didn't know shit about that movie before I saw Death Proof. But DP was so freakin' good that I had to find the movie it was "based" on.
