I have been there twice. It looked awesome throught the bottom of my beer glass.

Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong.
I think Slash is Jewish too and he is better than Marty Friedman.
WHaaaaaaaat!!!!!!
"Dear Dr. Bill,
I work with a woman who is about 5 feet tall and weighs close to 450 pounds and has more facial hair than ZZ Top." - Jack The Riffer
"OK, we can both have Ben..joint custody. I'll have him on the weekends. We could go out in my Cobra and give people the finger..weather permitting of course.." -Bill Z. Bub
Hang on, just because your parents bring you up in some religion doesn't surely mean you're one for your whole life.
Slash is a jew? Does he do ANYTHING remotely religious? I don't know if he does or not, but all the drinking, drugs and women seems kinda non-religious to me, unless its the CoS or similar.
I only actually know about three Jews in bands, and every one of them is known for putting the money before the music, to a shocking extent.
KISS, obviously and Scott Ian.
KISS at least admit it, so I'd say they rock.
Scott Ian alwyas tries to defend his grasping ways, so fuck him.

Well, Slash would be at least half Jewish since his dad is, and his mom is black (not sure if she's a black Jew or not).
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

So what if his dad is a jew? If someone's parents are Jews, but they end up in the Church of Satan are they still Jews?
Just because your family are of a certain religion doesn't make you a member.
If one parent is a satanist and the other is a catholic, does that make the kid a half a satanist?
I'm not remotely religious, but I'm not particularly anti religion either. However, I don't understand this topic - who gives a crap if someone is jewish, christian, satanic / goes fishing, collects stamps or whatever? What the fuck does a (mostly?) inherited belief or a religious upbringing have to do with playing guitar or 'rocking'? This might as well be the 'best guitarist with black hair' thread....
As others have said, I thought Spitz was a christian, if for no reason than in the pre-reunion Metal Sludge interview he did, he slated Scott Ian for criticising Spitz for being a christian while Scott constantly mentioned his judahism....
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

The term Jewish is also used to describe an ethnicity.

Exactly, so let's continue from that perspective and not get bogged down in minutiae.
And Gene Simmons being born in Israel classifies him as Jewish, so yeah.
Sorry kids, there are tons of guitarists that are "better" than Friedman. Being technically brilliant is one thing, being good is another. Marty is technically brilliant, but Jason Becker was always the better of the two.
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
