Saw Indiana Jones the other day. Nice, but a bit heavy on the CGI. Plus with Tomb Raider and National Treasure, plus the years of Tomb Raider games, it's all been done and doesn't have as much "wow" factor as the originals.
IMO, anyway.
On a side note, I saw a movie on cable the other day with Christian Bale set in the late 70s/early 80s Glam movement. He was with some guy in a hot tub who was packing his fudge
Why the hell do these people end up in Batman?
The fruity colors in all the first ones, no one took it up the pooper. They finally redo it in a serious, darker style, and they get people who took it up the pooper
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
The most human thing we can do is comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.
in a word....A-fucking-MAZING. but it wasn't just him; everything was perfect. i have to say that it's gotta be one of the best movies i've ever seen.

I heard that some critics said they wouldn't be surprised if Ledger wins an Oscar posthumulously(spelling?) for the performance. Would you agree with that?
Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!
Saw it last night! Ledger carried that movie. He played an exsquisitely sadistic but silly Joker. I'm not really into Batman and thought it was really good.
There's silly people paying 100 bucks for a fuggin' ticket because the shows have been sold out.

Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!
"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.
Not directly pertaining to the movie itself, but you may know that most of these superhero movies have associated comic book miniseries and then graphic novels associated with them.
My nephew is a professional comic artist. His work this year has included the associated comics for not only Dark Knight, but also for The Incredible Hulk and Indiana Jones as well. He was also formerly a firefighter who saved numerous people's lives during and after Hurricane Katrina. Needless to say, I am extremely proud of him. I feel that he's accomplished in art what I did not in music and that's a pretty good consolation prize to me.
His name is Steve Scott and he's an extraordinary human being as well s being a great talent.
Saw it last night and I agree it's a great movie, though it was pretty long. Ledger was fantastic, I'll be surprised if he doesn't win some awards for his role. Go see it!!
