Where did I state that Americans are fat? I said there were more of them to hold - that could mean there are simply a greater number of them; maybe American men are musclier; maybe they're more well endowed. You decided I meant that American's are fat.

So which option am I supposed to be jealous of?

Or is it just your egocentric view that the rest of the world is jealous of your country and/or desperate to live there? I loved the US on my visit there. Just about everyone we met was friendly and cool, we saw some great stuff and came away with some great memories. I have plenty of American friends here on the JCF, and with few exceptions, every American I've met here (on their vacation or through my time playing basketball) have been a pleasure to know. And I watch plenty of American tv & movies. But I still love where I live and have no desire to live anywhere else.

I don't really think that was happening on this thread. I made a comment that this music is only popular in Europe, not in America. But I didn't see any "american bashing" in this thread.

As for everyones conception of the US, I hate to disagree with you but I don't think everyone abroad thinks of us in the way you stated. That's not been my expierence anyway. France was an eyeopener but I don't think they looked down on me because I was American. I think they looked down on me because I had a problem eating horsemeat. But that's a different story.

Well, i have to say, i think theat the 'music' video itself accomplished probably what it was meant too, it certainly created a stir here, if it was supposed to bring light to fucked up shit going on in different parts of the world (our world, the one that we all live in, whatever 'country' your from) then it might have succeded, however the 'music' part of it is entirely subjective, i found no musical quality to it whatsoever, and i really didn't even hear/notice it, it wasn't exciting, it wasn't annoying, i wasn't anything, a soap commercial jingle has more quality.
I'm not personally into house/rave/techno/jungle whatever, but i've definately heard much better in these forms of music than that.
So, good thing you quite making that kind of 'music' cause as you stated, "on a good night", your group sucked hard.

I'm all for free speech, personal views ect, and this forum i feel is VERY open and not censored very much at all, which is great, as it should be.
