Good luck man!! I've had this surgery multiple times. Now I have a fibreglass belted area and I am good to go. They call me steel pud.

            You'll be fine.

Just a quick update. I am doing much better today. My wife had the honor of removing the latex bandage and slowly and carefully removing the gauze. It must have taken her about 30 mintues. She's a real trooper and a keeper.

I was surfing the net tonight and looking at voodoo amps again. She looks at me and says, for gods sake, just call Trace tomorrow and order what you want. I need trips to the hospital more often, lol.

I think I scared the crap out of her this time with the surgery. As you get older the whole mortality thing starts to creep into your head. I had gotten the will out and also put together a list of phone numbers and all the insurance policies with numbers, etc for her.

She found it just before we left for the hospital. So, as a treat today I sent her off to the crafts store Michaels, she is into crossstitch, etc. She bought a crap load of stuff and is busy working on it.

Thanks everybody for the kind words. Hell, this is more like a family than a guitar board. Well, enough of the mushy shit. Time to listen to some metal, lol.
