Yeah, really sad about Michelle, gone at 39. The rest of 'em, well Linda is still running the band with replacement players, though they don't do much. She's making a lot of money with The Iron Maidens tribute, though. None of the Phantom Blue replacement guitarists have been as good as Michelle was, though.

Do you have the Shrapnel sebut, sonic, or Built To Perform? I think Built To Perform is a great album, with guest solos from Marty Friedman and John Norum. I guess John liked Michelle enough to marry her! It's an excellent album though.

That singer, Gigi, was something else! I saw them in Hollywood shortly before BTP came out, playing songs from that album in their setlist. They kicked ass live and Gigi had a great prescence - too bad she dropped out of sight when she left the band.

The singer does have a great voice. Reminds me slightly of leather leone from chastain. Shame the good female vocalists from that era all dropped off the map apart from maybe doro.

Michelle was smoking on that album. Very different style to what she was doing when i saw her with meldrum. Seemed to be going down the whole zakk route *yawn*...

Except for the beard she really did copy Zakk musically and visaually, insofar as a blond chick with big tits could. she switched from a Floyded shred style to a downtuned Les Paul and pinch harmonics galore - though still not as bad as Zakk. She began dressing like a biker chick and the songs were like a female BLS.

I liked the Meldrum music anyway, and she had to go with the times to an extent to try and be relevant.
