There are a few who posted on the WWIII thread that's still on the front page. Endrik is from Estonia, and Norton and a couple other guys are from Turkey.

I bet Ukraine is wishing they'd kept their nukes and their big army about now...
    Ron is the MAN!!!!

I think there's others too - I'm of the opinion that we will not have ww3 for a while (maybe I'm optimistic)but I also think Russia is trying to establish some of it's former glory (be it territorial or just more in the world's political theater )

      Anyway what I'm interested in learning is about things like ;

1)Is there any other border deployment on Russias part ?
Most of our news have stopped coverage ,except for the hard hitting stuff like ; John Edwards skank and Lindsay Lohans little sister's alledged boob job
2)The insights of someone who has a deep understanding of the area ,people ,history and cultures etc........can be much more informative then the watery misleading subjective reporting of someone thousands of miles removed from the situation

And of course any other viewpoints (US , Canada , Mexico , etc...) are welcome as well

I think that the whole thing is a "We are back on the game. You will learn to respect us and to take us seriously like you used to." shout by Russia.

On the paperwork, of course Georgia is right. They are trying to unify their land and erase the problems off the list. But they KNEW that it would come to this if they did something about Ossetia. The president of Georgia used it as a shot to get closer with NATO. "If we get into a poor situation, then NATO would help us and it would probably give us a ticket to NATO". It was more than just working on unifying Georgia. It seems to me that it was more of a political gamble. Saakashvili would gain lots of popularity and authority in his country , if things had went alright. And it would also buy his country more safety. But, Putin's building the old Soviet "Empire" again, and he's very good at it. Most of the political leaders are intimidated and scared by him. He holds power in his hands. And the worst part (for us) is, he's not trying to get along with the west, which means, he won't try to pull off any diplomatic crap, which leads to more efficient results in bullying, in my opinion.

And for Turkey, we have good relations with both Russia and Georgia. We hold the majority of the construction business in Russia and have a lot of people working there(mostly civil engineers and architects). And there are a lot of Russian people living here. So, we definitely have some decent relations going on with them.

With Georgia, I think that the Turkish Military's doing the protection of their coasts(I'm not sure with it, but I remember as it was like that) and we're on real good terms on civil relations, too( you can add the pipeline to that)

So, in the end, it's not quite easy to solve. We have to keep it cool with both sides(and since Georgia wants some help, it's even more complicated), cause it's the right thing to do. I heard that the pipeline's working has been halt by Putin. I guess our prime minister(I hate that guy) 's gonna have some meetings with him to make it work again.

Russia's working hard to make people hate them. They sure'll keep up the good work.
            I wish my hair-color was EDS :/

              It is really is tragic.

There are some really fuking screwed up people in way to high places of power.

My buddy at work is from Ukraine, first person i really ever talked to and got to know from there.
We have talked about growing up in our countries, and our impressions and what was hammered down our throat by "propoganda" from back then in the 80's.
We were really suprised to find that we both thought the same things when we were young, and fearing a nuclear war ect...

He totaly thought that America was basically out to Nuke the Soveit Union and was always afraid as a kid of that and affected his life in that way,
likewise for me i thought the same thing, as i'm sure a lot of you did.

He said that in school there were propoganda posters depicting an American in this way -

Big Fat rich looking American buisness guy, sitting in a big chair with a black man shining his shoes, and whatever the puch line was.

It could be argued, In a way yeah, it is/or was that way, doesnt have to be a black man, could basically be anyone poorer you know, but anyway, ...i told him i don;t remember anything like that in our schools, possibly in the military there was an American version of a similar propoganda posters directed toward the Soviets, i'm sure, but the fact that we were both kids and had to live with the same fear is rediculous.
I do not belive that America was out to bomb Russia, Reagan just played the game and outspent them, that was his strategy for avoiding the war, and it worked.
I'm not going to profess America is perfect, far from it!
But, the ideals that were set forth here, that all should be free (as free as they'll let us be) i firmly believe in.
Personally, and even my friend from Ukraine belives, that what Putin really wants is basically a form of eliteism, and my buddy also feels that that is somewhat a Russian trite he notices, even people he knows that are Russian, but live here in the US.
Personally i'v met quite a few Russian Americans, some were cool, and a good bit i felt they kinda were that way, but i couldn't put my finger on it in that sense, i just thought they were cocky type people.
That opinion was compunded by a talk i had with someone in an online game, i thoughtwas cool, one time we were on voice chat ( i didn't know where he was from at this point) i asked him about his accent, i figured it was from one of the countries in that area, but i couldn't tell, and so i asked him are you from .....someplace dunno, and he got totaly piiiisssed off, and was like, i'm fucking Russian can't you tell???
I was like dude, chill, i'm sorry i am a bit ignorant, but i meant no dissrespect, i was like, you don't need to get so pissed, i really don't care, and if you said i was Canadian or something, i'm not getting pissed off about it.
So that was one experience, anyway, we can't choose where we are born
that's just the card that was drawn for you, why do people get so "proud" of where they are from, WHO GIVES A SHIT.
Fucking New Yorkers act like they were born in the greatest city ever, a city so nice they named it twice,...you know what? FUCK NEW YORK, i hate that place, my mom was born there, and fortuanatly she moved to LA before i was born, am i "Proud" that i was born and am from LA?
FUCK NO, LA is a shithole too

Anyway, i'm never going to judge a whole race or country of people based on a handfulls actions, but there is some merit to stereotypes that's undeniable, but what it comes down to is..
There are good people, and there are bad people
from all walks of life, from every race, ethnicity, country ect...

and speaking of race, like how they try to categorize 'race' when your doing an application or something

THERE IS ONLY ONE RACE - The Human Race
were all equal, we all have the same right by nature to live and be happy and be free.

So take your "Pride" and shove it up your poop shoot.

              I don't give a fuck -

Lastly Americans, with great respect what Obama has done for himself, and the sense of accomplishment of the Black community, not to take anything away from that, but the man is also an elitist and has to have some balls to think he should really be president when he hasn't even finished a second term as a Senator, if you think about it, wtf??
It's like he believes the job is so easy anyone can do it (probably cause he watched Bush do it ).
Really, it's going to turn into a Cold War again, and i feel that the way the democrats deal with conflict is way to pussified to deal with a strong headed, and very deceptive Russian government.
If the democrats win, they will try to make all nice nice, and have nice treaties and bullshit, and Putin wil just smile and go a long with what he see's will in the long run benefit him, and all the while, build up the regime, build up the armies ect,...while our government acts like they have them in their pocket, and it's pretty damn scary really.
Maybe one day Obama can be president ..sure, but for fucks sake be humble and EARN that position, by putting in the time.
McCain is our best bet, (i'm personaly not a republican OR a Democrat, but i believe we need both for the balance) and it's crucial, the man is not going to pull any punches with Russia or any other governments that act insanely, also a tad scary as you know then, it's a "what if" they just start firing up the missles. (McCain has had many public opinions on Putin)
But no matter what, we need strong leadership in regards to foreign relations, there can be no pussy footing around about this, we will dig ourselves into a hole.

And that's all i have to say about that.

oh, and if you want to force them on me?
Fuck Your Religions - That too.
