I ran into the same thing. It said the Domain had expired. I typed in the address again and it did the same thing. Next day everything was working again. Weird.

The current whois entry says that it was updated yesterday and it is back to being hosted by chicagowebs. Perhaps the lease expired, the evil domain grabbing company grabbed the lease and Jeremy bought the lease back from them? Those vultures are pure evil.
I noticed it late yesterday morning when I tried to log in. There were big yellow stickies on parts of the forum that said "click here". When I eventually logged in and clicked on a thread, I would get a holding page saying the site was under construction... this was from my AOL browser. When I used the Internet Explorer browser, all seemed fine. Everything seemed fine after that. Maybe Jeremy was upgrading the forum or something.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Same thing here! I thought maybe I was banned for talking too much!
I was saddened and disappointed, and then I crawled to the ESP forum with my tail between my legs... I even went to the (gasp) Dean Forum. Of course this was after a visit to Jackson Palace.
Glad it's back up now.

It wasn't DNS trouble... the Domain Name did actually expire on 8-16-2008.
By the time it was renewed, most of the DNS servers around the world had already listed the redirect to the expired page.
It can take up to a week for every DNS server around the world to pick up the renewal.
I still cannot access the site from home... I get the expired domain page as my ISP's DNS server hasn't picked up the renewal.
Works fine from work.
Here's what I get from home on a WHOIS lookup.
