You know, I never thought Load and ReLoad in of themselves, were bad CDs. The problem is, they had Metallica on the front. They would of been decent CDs for any other band, but not the thrash-metal kings Metallica. Until it Sleeps would of torn your face off back in '87, but it was almost too contained for them. St Anger was crap, but Load was not a bad album... just not well produced and just not Metallica. Now St. Anger made Nevermind seem like a musical MASTERPIECE

Haven't heard the new Testament, but of the big four (Met, Deth, Anthrax, Slayer) only one is still metal, and it took them a while to get back there.

Dude get the new Testament, (if you like Testament) i was late to get it myself,...and it's fucking great.

Metallica should have just broken up after the Black album, it woulda been nice to just have the memory of what they were instead of what they became.

Anyhow, this song is thier last final death rattle, I really REALLY wanted to like this song, I really did, Been an Alchoholica since the weeee early days, even have all the early megaforce shit I bought when it came out, but someone said it right, they were great for 7 fucking years, Cliff died, and that was it, AJFA is amazing yes, but when Cliff died so did they. It seems as though after alienating all thier fans by making two of the biggest disasters in recent music history wasnt enough for them, they had to try and scrape any musical credibility they could have possibly had left.

As was stated earlier bands like Testament can still put out good heavy thrashy music why can't Metallica. Thing is, this album will still sell millions. There's probably even people out there who for them will be the first Metallica album they'll buy. They will think this shit is acceptable. Then they will start forming bands who will try to play music influenced by this album. The downward spiral has well and truly begun........
