Hopefully I never live in a place where I feel the need to carry a handgun.

You should upgrade that one to gold hardware.

Anyone who doesn't get the lure of a handgun has never held one.

It does something to you. It really does.

I don't like that something so I don't own them. That and an issue with kids around. But I do respect a sexy piece.

That is a sexy piece man.
      I'm angry because you're stupid

Nice pistol Stuka... I have had a P14-45 for about 8 years now, my very favorite. Congrats on your purchase.
Why hunt ... when there is no machine gun season?

I don't have a pic of it, but my brother picked up a really nice CZ 9mm last year . . . and just got a *bayonet* for it. Totally ridiculous, but awesome at the same time.

So far, I've stuck with .22 Walthers - a P22T pistol and G22 bullpup - but am now trying to decide between some sort of 9mm (leaning toward a Beretta PX4 Storm or discontinued 9000S) or a shotgun for home defense.

That is a really nice piece stuka. I wanted something that was a nato caliber and the
9MM had so many options in the ammo dept. and was more economical to practice with compared to some of the other pistols I wanted.

This is the Beretta 92FS. It was originally sold with 2x 15 round clips but now sold with 10 round clips. Its light and it feels right.

I just recently sold my 2 Para Ordnances a P12-45 and P13-45 limited.

                Picked up a few replacements.

Ya, the 38 is a butt load cheaper to shoot and more accurate. Sure the 45 will drop a guy in 1 shot almost every time, but if he is more than 20 feet away you will probably hit him in the foot.

I'm no gun expert, but I had always heard that a .45 round dropped like a rock. That's one of the reasons I was leaning towards the .38. Plus, it would only be used for home defense. If I couldn't kill the fucker with 5 or 6 shots, I could always leave one round in the clip for me!

You guys do know that a 1911 style pistol shoots the .38 Super round and not .38 special. No current semi auto shoots .38 special, don't know if one ever did.

I have no idea where you can get .38 super for cheaper than any of the 3 common semi caliber(9mm, 40 S&W, 45ACP), it's kind of a boutique round now, can still be found, but it is a pricey round now.

Something like 95%+ of gun "fights" happen at less than 20 feet, I actually believe the number is more around 12 feet, at those distances bullet drop off is not a factor at all. All those rounds can be deadly accurate at 25+yards in the right hands, but the average user in a home defense situation will never deal with distances like that.

The 45 is a awesome home defense round big heavy and slow. Hit your target and not have to worry about the round going through the target and through the wall to what's ever on the other side.

Some people will say the 45 recoils too much, but in all honesty if your a grown man and can't handle a 45, you need to eat something.

Also if you can't hit a human sized target at 7 yards(21 feet) in the torso, you have no business handling a handgun.

Remember if your gonna have/use a gun please get some training on it and know how to use it and handle it safely.

"I didn't take cover, I fell down and it was the scariest part of the whole situation. Here I was in the middle of a gunfight and I was flat on my back. I was terrified that I was going to get shot in the butt.
