I did want to extend best wishes and prayers to our JCF members and their families in the path of Hanna. Better yet, let's just hope for the best this entire hurricane season. Looks as if it's gonna be a doozy.

Hanna seems to be pretty mild compared to what you guys went through last week, i'm glad the gulf guys are ok. we're supposed to get hit tomorrow afternoon and evening, and then it's outta here. Ike on the other hand has me a little nervous lol..

Looking more and more likely that IKE may head towards Texas and Mexico. I have a friend that has a Nordic Tug docked at Clear Lake south of Houston. Hope he has good insurance!

I've often thought about this, Yes living costally is probably amazing, since it's usually so beautiful, but if I had to go through floods and shit like this either every so often or lately every year, I'd of said Fuck it, LONG ago, maybe as a people we should think this out?

or maybe it's just a way for earth to thin the heard, I have no idea....

Well, I think the same about people who live out in California. Earthquakes, wildfires, mudslides... natural disaster waiting to happen.
