                          A big loss.
                          I know its not the type of music this site is known for discussing.
                          Skills are skills as far as I'm concerned and I have a appreciation for most musical styles.
                          With that said, he was a killer country picker.
                          What Brad Paisley is doing today with country guitar, Jerry was doing it back in his day.

                          He played with many greats such as Clark, Atkin's and many others and out played them nearly every time. He really never got the recognition he truly was deserving of as a player. He'll be remembered more for his Smokey and the Bandits flicks then anything else and that's a shame. He was a great player. I remember watching him play years ago on the Glen Campbell show. Black and white television in those days and I was a knee high grass hopper but I was glued to the set when he played.
