You guys dont need him to be another Brady. Just as long as hes efficient at what he does and doesnt make too many mistakes, he'll be fine. You may not go undefeated but you'll be ok.
Exactly. Steeler fans remember Neil O'Donnell ? The guy wasn't Tom Brady, but they sure did win a lot with him. And if not for his love affair with Larry Brown, they'd have won the SB
I'm not afraid to bleed, but I won't do it for you.
Ugh.
Fuggin Miami...
I have to say, they looked sharp though.
Pats defense didn't show up, and the quarterback situation was, well, ugly.
glad we have an extra week to review this film, and Bill can beat it into them.
Kinda glad we got a loss out of the way actually.
Now we can just concentrate on the game at hand each week.
"Wow,... that was some of the hardest rockin ever. Hardest to listen too."

Well, our D buckled down and ground the Steelers right into the ground! Westbrook is a concern, but the great thing about Andy Reid's system is as long as McNabb is healthy and in the game, the Eagles can slug it out and win ball games, no matter who he is giving the ball to. Our D was stellar, thankfully seemingly over the snafu at Dallas. They did what they needed to do, which was rock Big Ben.
Also, the Giants are starting to show their true colors I think. The Reds look half decent, but there is nothing about them that screams play off spots. Buffalo has an underrated team, but I'm surprised they only won by 1 over Oakland. New England's D let them down. They should know they won't get many points, so they need to dig in and hold the other team. When the Dolphins hit you up for 38 points, you could have issues. Kansas City and St Louis seem to be competing for title of Worst team in the NFL with the Lions...
Hell if I know. Just glad they finally got rid of him. I'm sure his intentions were good, but year after year of getting WORSE, he should have been gone.
listening to a local sports radio show, they said he basically made 53 million which worked out oabout 1 million per loss... not bad for doing a crappy job!
Under Millens watch the Lions seem to have the phiosphy to pick a WR with thier first round pick choosing 4 WR out of the first 6 drafts with Millen. All of them were not only first round picks but top 10 picks at that. 2002 3.Joey Harrington - QB Bust 2003 2.Charles Rogers - WR Bust
2004 7.Roy Williams - WR 2005 10.Mike Williams - WR Bust
2006 9. Ernie Sims - LB
2007 2. Calvin Johnson -WR
He missed on his first two first round picks Harrington only lasted 4 season with the Lions and Rogers is out of football right now.
Charles Rogers was in the league for 4 years and caught 36 balls for 440 yards during that time can you say BUST.
Mikw Williams played for the Lions for 2 season and caught 37 passes for for 449 yards and 2 Tds. He is also out of football.
As you can tell I'm a football nut but of course I had to look up the stats
Once again I wonder how Millen hung around so long with what he has done to the Lions.
