Hey, guys. I've got a problem: I had a Frankencomputer running Windows 2000. I just fed it a nice new install of Windows XP. Of course, now I have to reinstall some software, including my Cakewalk Music Creator 3.
Reinstallation was fine, but now I'm getting some funny stuff. Usually when I record, I lay down a basic synth drum track because it just feels better than the metronome beep. Then I lay my guitars down.
The problems start about 10 seconds into playback, when it sounds like the drum track is throwing out ghost notes.
Any suggestions?
Tech Specs: Sansamp TRI-AC - Soundblaster Audigy SE - AMD 3700 (2.2 gigs) - 1.5 gigs RAM, 380 gigs of hard drive space. All drivers are updated.
