What's wrong with Mazdas? Especially the 6? I have a Speed6, and it smokes. Direct injection, turbo, 270hp / 280lb, AWD. 0-60 in 5.4 sec. Lotta bang for the buck with this one.

Yes, Ford owns a controlling interest in Mazda. At least for the time being.

absolutely nothing wrong with a Mazda (apart from the stock engine being underpowered). It was just an easy point of reference for me because I was considering the Luxury Sports model Mazda6 before I decided to buy the XR6. In the end, the extra bit of boot space, rear legroom & grunt won out and I didn't get the Mazda. Plus I've always had a thing for Falcons.

Ok, theres nothing wrong with Mazda. Its just that all those cars are fwd and his car is RWD, hence my "real car" comment. Im old school like that. Yes, I know ford owns mazda which is why I thought there may be some similarity with his car and my fusion which is based on the mazda 6 platform. But I see that this is not the case. The front end on that car looks more mazda than Ford to me which led me to that false conclusion. On a side note, I actually saw one of those new retro Challengers on the road yesterday. Looked damn cool.
