hey ben if you're into learning songs by ear then i'd recommend a program called best practice. you can take the song and adjust the pitch without messing with the speed. that way you tune the song to you instead of having to tune then retune

Already got it. There was a thread about it a while ago. I tried to use it with this other Therion song that's in C Standard. I couldn't handle it because the dude just sounded too funny. I swear with that program you can turn anything into a techno song with chimpmunks singing.

Oh, and I now only learn songs by ear. Eventually I'll make a Guitar Pro tab for future reference. My guitar teacher figures it out then gets me to make sure it's right because he says I have a way better ear than he does(I do?)

Bwahaha!! Who would have thought Tuna 1613 was in E Standard? All the other heavier songs off Gothic Kabbalah are in D or even C Standard. Tuna's the latest song we're working on in guitar. It's not as hard as I thought it would be. I thought I'd have to tune my Jackson down to D and reset it up but I guess not.

Well Phill_up, I listened to the Ghoul song all the way though and I have come to the conclusion that I dislike it along with all the other specimens, if only for the vocals. The DevilDriver song was good until the vocals kicked in then I drowned it out with Tuna 1613. I still have absolutely no clue what's going on in that Skinny Puppy video. Is that a metal band? Is it rap? Is it a meth addict with a machete? I still don't know what to think.:dunno:
