Unfortuantely it's not a video..but I really love this stuff. Its progressive but aggressive...CONTROL DENIED..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzlyF...eature=related

    RIP Chuck..you were awesome!!
I got some Psycho Scream -'Virtual Insanity' feat. Tim Aymar and Jim Dofka, that's some good stuff there Horns!!
But the only bummer is that it's a cassette. As far as I know it hasn't been re issued on CD yet.

I dont have any Pharoah though, do you have the original?

    Slayer is metal.

Many metal bands evolved from hard rock to metal to bubblegum metal. Slayer never did bazooka joe metal...

And even though they dont get along at times... many times. sometimes all the time... they stay together and do metal.

OK this is MORGANA LEFAY , a swedish metal band that's been around since the late 80's, and have put out approx a dozen releases. They are Sweden's answer to Savatage. The singer is often compared to Jon Oliva, I could see the comparison. Here's some old/new vids I could find ..MORGANA LEFAY..

The best ABBA cover ever.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7TyU...eature=related

..This is a funny site..How to be a real metalhead..and links to fasion tips!!http://www.wikihow.com/Be-a-Metalhead

Metalhead for dummies..kind of a oxymoron eh?

Ok, I don't think I need to shame those who embrace trends. Let's try to stay away from the negative shit..if some like that lousy fuggin' bullshit..cool!

OK, One of the reasons I started this thread was because I was getting PMs requesting some good new metal to check out. I often mention the same bands to like minded people..so why not make this a open thing and everyone wins. I also get to learn of new shit along the way.

Now, how to continue this..are you watching the bands I've posted. I figure that is prolly the best way to check out a new band...Just like MTV..Metal Tunnel Vision!

Instead of just compling a list, and having to research the shit on your own..just like the days before youtube/myspace. That's what dedicated metalheads do..they research music on their own, and discover their favorite band/musicians with zero assist from any media source ..it becomes an obsession, and lifestyle. I don't see this kind of loyalty and dedictaion in any other form of music..except classical and jazz..they have their freaks too. Rap, too..they'll bust a cap or a nut..they don't give a fuck!

OK, I'm going to keep with the CLEAN vocal theme to make things more accessable because I discovered that the majority of folks don't care for harsh vocals..even blast beats and ect. Something I'd like them to ease into..like many of us did. The older I'm getting, the heavier shit I listen to. Shit I'd prolly wouldn't liked 5-10-15-20-30 years ago.

So, I'm off to hunt down something cool. I may find stuff that's 10" years old but still may be new to many..

    Diver Down..

    Haha...Meatballs!!!!

Val won't disclose her Sauce/Meatball recipe to nobody..not even our own mothers!!! She's a bitch! She wants to read yours tho!! Well, I took care of all my family biz for now. So I'll be back late tonight to continue the metal awesomeness.

That's if I don't pass out!!! I did the last two nights. Everytime I get baked and stuff my face. Last night I engorged myself with Chicken Parmesian..I was out!

I'm listening to Scariot "strange to numbers", Gary would like them! VERY Nevermore influenced much like Communic. I will scout for some videos or songs samples later!!

and regarding meatballs, my recipe (abridged):
all meats cooked first (in olive oil):
    braciole (won't get into that)
    sausage
meatballs (50/50 ground beef/pork, a lot of freshly grated parm, couple pieces of stale bread, 1 egg, some garlic, FRESH basil and oregano, salt, pepper, all put through the food processor for a nice consistency)
add garlic to pot after meat is done, then deglaze with red wine, add the canned tomatoes, tomato paste (gradually, with a little water), put cooked meat back in, along with more fresh basil and oregano, salt and pepper, when the braciole is tender the sauce is ready. may add peppers/onions if I feel like it. I don't add sugar, don't like it, I find the fresh basil helps cut the acidity.
