I heard about this on the way to work, very sad. Can't really ask for more success as an actor, I'm sure he had a great life!

a very sad day, he will be forever missed.

in my opinion the best acting scene in movie history...

RIP. Heard about this yesterday. Aside from a great actor he was also an accomplished race car driver with Nissan. I remember watching him in my teens driving 280 and 300z's around tracks all over.

Another good movie was Absence of Malice with co-star Sally Fields.

I happened to be in NYC this weekend. There was a genuine sadness and sense of great loss on Broadway because of his passing.

Despite being a great actor and kickass driver/owner, he was a great person. Down to earth, humble, and cared for others. Especially children in need. He was that rare breed of person who acheived great success and, yet, used it to help others in a great way.

RIP, sir. You left this world a better place than it would've been without you.
