The New iPods

I still have my 1st gen 4GB Nano... it still works, so I see no reason to replace it.
I also have a 1st gen 8GB iPhone that I HATE with a passion.
Great iPod... lousy phone.
The new iPods are nice looking, just don't feel like giving Steve any more of my money... e still owes me for the iPhone fiasco.

my wife and i just got two 3g's 16g... i'm very impressed with these units.
hopefully at&t is just as good as verizon. i can do almost anything i need.

I recently switched from Verizon to AT&T to join a family plan and the service is noticeably worse. Still useable, but worse.

Don't really see the point in all this.
I use my phone to play music on. It holds about 2Gb I think. So I have about ten albums on there. Why would I need more?
I only use it as a phone, but take it (obviously) with me when I go on holiday to use as a music player.
I dont use it to play games, I have a computer to surf the web, so...I basically use my phone as a.....telephone.
Insane I know.

Same here. I don't own an iPod, and I don't play music on my phone.

Nice. I actually do the same, the only music on my phone is in the form of ringtones.

The problem I've had so far with trying to use a phone as an iPod is the battery just runs out way too quickly.
